SB12PFCR25-4-COAX FAQ
What are FRD and ZMA files?
An FRD file holds a driver's frequency response and a ZMA file its impedance, the two curves a crossover simulator needs. Plain text, one point per line.
Which software can open the SB12PFCR25-4-COAX files?
VituixCAD, XSim and REW, and most other crossover tools that read plain text.
How was this data made?
It was digitised by Artisan Acoustics from the response and impedance graphs in the SB Acoustics datasheet, so it is not a measurement and not an official SB Acoustics file. Each curve is checked against its graph. The datasheet it came from and the conditions printed on it are in the ABOUT.txt note and in the header of each file inside the zip. Use the files at your own risk.
Why is the phase column zero?
The datasheets print level and impedance but not phase. If your simulator needs phase, derive minimum phase there.
